Two Friends & One Idea
We met in 2017 and soon became best friends. We have a mutual love of bars, pubs and the drinks industry 40 years experience between us!
The idea came in 2019 after an incredible summer of events (little did we know 2020 was going to be so different) when we thought with our knowledge and experience we could provide one of the best mobile bar services around. Over the autumn and winter we had numerous meetings and created planning documents created to ensure everything was meticulously prepared.
In February 2020 Clive quit his digital marketing job to commit more time to the project and we finally found the company to build our bespoke design.
Then Covid-19 happened. With the country grinding to a halt and the events industry severely affected we wondered if this was the wrong choice but actually it transpired a mobile offering was exactly what was needed! It also gave us more time to think about our design and make a few changes to meet new requirements.
In August 2020 Bar 83 was finished. Named after the age of the Double Rice Horse Trailer that the mobile bar is based on we are confident that this is one of the most adaptable trailer bar offerings in the country.

With the anticipation of BAR 83 being launched we also started 'Project 2' which will be a bit different to our first mobile bar.
